❓ How do I reset my password?
Currently, you can request a password reset by emailing us at finclash101@gmail.com with your account email. We're working on an automated password reset feature.
❓ Is FinClash really free?
Yes! FinClash is completely free to use. You start with $100,000 in virtual currency and can trade unlimited stocks without any fees or subscriptions. This is educational software, not a real brokerage.
❓ Can I withdraw my virtual earnings as real money?
No. FinClash uses virtual currency only. Your portfolio, trades, and gains are simulations for educational purposes. You cannot convert virtual money to real money or make actual financial transactions.
❓ How accurate is the stock data?
We use real-time data from Finnhub API, providing accurate market prices. However, there may be slight delays (typically 15 seconds to 1 minute) and occasional rate limits. The data is for educational purposes only.
❓ My portfolio disappeared after signing out. What happened?
Your portfolio is saved to our backend servers and linked to your email account. Simply sign back in with the same email and password, and your portfolio will be restored. If you're having issues, email us immediately.
❓ Can I use FinClash on mobile?
Yes! FinClash is fully responsive and works on mobile browsers. Simply visit reidwcoleman.github.io/trader on your phone or tablet.
❓ How do I delete my account?
Email us at finclash101@gmail.com with subject "Delete Account" and we'll process your request within 5-7 business days. Include the email address associated with your account.
❓ Does FinClash provide investment advice?
No. FinClash is for educational purposes only. We do not provide financial advice, investment recommendations, or professional guidance. Always consult a licensed financial advisor before making real investment decisions.
