4. AI Analysis and Data Processing

Our UltraThink AI feature analyzes publicly available stock market data (provided by Finnhub API) to generate trading insights. No personal information is used in AI analysis. All analysis is performed using real-time market data, historical prices, and publicly available news.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We share information with:

• Stripe - For secure payment processing
• Finnhub API - To retrieve real-time stock market data
• Competition Participants - Your username and performance metrics are visible to other users in competitions you join

We do NOT sell your personal information to third parties.

We implement industry-standard security measures:

• Password encryption using bcrypt hashing
• HTTPS encryption for data transmission
• Secure backend API with authentication
• Regular security updates and monitoring
• Limited data retention (chat messages capped at 1,000)

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We use browser localStorage to maintain your login session. We do not use third-party tracking cookies for advertising purposes. The Tailwind CDN and React libraries may use cookies for functionality purposes only.

10. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active. You may request account deletion at any time. After deletion:

• Your account data will be permanently removed within 30 days
• Chat messages you sent will remain visible (with username) for continuity
• Financial transaction records may be retained for legal compliance

FinClash is operated from the United States. By using our service, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States and processing under U.S. laws.
